Health Informatics Knowledge Management Conference

Health informatics and knowledge management use information technology, data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop insights, support evidence-based decision-making in health, and drive innovation in the health care industry. The recent astonishing advances in AI and technologies have raised serious concerns how Health Care, Health Information, Knowledge Management and our society in general will be affected. Interoperability remains a big concern as well, which has thus far, placed severe limitations on the adoption of technology into clinical practice.

After the success of the 2022 Health Informatics & Knowledge Management Conference, HIKM 2023, HIKM 2024, and HIKM 2025, HIKM 2026 will be held 8-10 September 2026.

Now in its 19th year, HIKM is the leading high-impact conference for Health Information Science researchers across Asia-Pacific and beyond. It is held annually and accepted papers are published by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). HIKM is ‘Online-by-Design’. Thus, only a modest fee is required to cover the publication with ACM and paper administration.
