Healthcare leaders and international experts will gather from 6 to 10 September 2015 in Singapore for the ninth edition of the HIMSS Asia-Pacific 'Digital Healthcare Week' Health IT Conference and Exhibition to discuss how technology can improve healthcare in ways never imagined before.  There are several elements that define a SMART Nation or City and the SMART Healthcare concept is one of them.  The application of technology such as telehealth, mobile and digital health is encouraged to make healthcare smarter and improve the quality of life of patients.

But what makes SMART Healthcare?  How will technology impact healthcare providers, patients and caregivers?  What are the roles SMART City participants (e.g. integrators, network service providers, pure-play product vendors, managed service providers) can play?  HIMSS AsiaPac15 delegates will have the opportunity to learn about and evaluate the latest innovations in healthcare and how health IT is at the forefront in transforming the consumer healthcare experience and building a smarter, healthier world.  See the HIMSS AsiaPac15 conference announcement and the Pre-Conference Brochure.
